About Me
Hi! My name's Claire Hannusch. I'm a co-op student at the University of Waterloo studying Arts and Business majoring in English: Rhetoric, Media, and Professional Communication. I'm currently in my fourth co-op position at PCL Construction in Oakville as a Multimedia student. The placement is from January 2023 to August 2023, and has provided me with so many unique and amazing experiences to expand my professional skills!
All of my co-op placements have allowed me to explore and develop skills in an area that I've been interested in for a long time - video editing and digital content creation. In these positions I've taught myself how to use Adobe's Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Illustrator - and I've also been able to improve my skills on Photoshop and InDesign. My managers have described me as eager to learn and skilled at leaning new technologies, so while I've learned a lot in the past I am always excited and open to advancing and developing more.

From creating viral TikToks, to filming the biggest robot in the province from a Skyjack, to being on top of a crane on top of a 50 story to film construction, I'm incredibly grateful for every opportunity that I've had and am so excited to keep learning, growing, and developing in the future!

My passions include editing videos, making animations, photography, and being active. I've always been a runner, and have expanded my fitness routine to incorporate weigh lifting as well. I see fitness as an opportunity to grow physically and mentally, and become a better version of myself in both my personal and professional lives.
